Thanks to the Soapbox Team

This is how I spent my summer!

PS. I took all of these photos and passed them on to Projects Overland

Projects Overland

We had the most amazing time with our volunteer group from the UK.
For two weeks they worked in various projects like schools, an orphanage, a safe house for girls and on a medical outreach! They taught, painted walls gave out medicine or just played with children. They were really busy and definitely left their tracks behind.
It was so nice having them and all we can say is: Asante sana na Karibuni tena (thank you very much and welcome again).

Google Webmaster Tools

To help me monitor where my website ranks in the Google search engine I have signed up to Google Webmaster Tools. This is another free service from Google that helps me to understand how Google views my site and may help me to optimise its performance.

I already have an Google Webmaster Tools account, so I logged in, clicked add site and typed in my site URL. I then chose the ‘Alternate methods’ option and html tag, add a meta tag to your site’s home page.

Google generated a unique code which I copied to my clipboard. i logged back into my website account, chose ‘Services’ and Webmaster Tools. I clicked setup and pasted the code into the box that appeared. Then I went back to Webmaster Tools and clicked verify and I was done.

Welcome

Hi,

I’m studying BA (Hons) Photography at Hull College. This blog is where I am going to be posting evidence, research, inspiration and assignment submissions towards my course throughout the year.

I particularly like taking wedding photographs and travel documentary style images but am looking forward to being challenged, getting more creative and gaining confidence over the next 12 months.

If you would like to know more about my photography, please get in touch.
