This week my friends graduated and collected their Photography BA degrees. My congratulations to them all but especially to my good friend Anete Sooda who achieved a First Class Honours Degree.
The event included a performance by Madeline Palmer who gave a rousing performance of ‘Rollin on the River’ while the college dignitaries sat motionless on the stage behind her. The keynote speech was given by film producer Chris Hees who spoke about needing to say your dreams and ambitions outloud and follow that up with determination and a belief in yourself in order to achieve them. He grew up in Hull and is soon to be producing a film about Amy Johnson.
